some things are better left unexplained.

The Daytona Dreams

Soft and foolhardy
crackling, tears of exhaustion
and purpose

Garbage-picking guilt and shame
flooding, thick with apprehension
and fear.

Glowing and subtly wise
grining, the fruit of knowledge
and love.

Familiar and precious
erring, knowing of forgiveness
and repentance.

Churning and hidden
pondering, thinking something else
and aware.

Proud and honest
breaking, tough becoming soft
and foolhardy

Your blog is better than my blog.
